Dean Is Chairman For Zoo Ceremony

Walter C. Dean, 610 Northwest Fifteenth street, has been named chairman of a committee to plan the dedicatory ceremony for the reconstructed Lincoln park zoo October 9, Donald Gordon, city park suerpintendent said Saturday.

Other members of the committee will be named Monday. Through the works progress administration, the zoo has been completely remodeled at a cost of approximately $275,000. Animals have been placed in barless cages and in overlook pens. A new hilltop shelter building and new concessions buildings have been erected and new walks have been constructed.
