Where Young Minds Are Molded

Y. M. C. A. Hut at Community Camp
The Young Men's Christian association hut established in Community camp is a literary center as well as the hub of playground activities for 150 boys and girls in the camp, according to Gilbert S. Walker, sponsor of the hut. Boys from the junior and senior leaders' club operate the center, keeping it open until 9 p. m. 
Bonnie Carson, 11 years old, is shown in the picture receiving a playground bial form Richard Kuntz, one of the leaders at the camp. The girl who has checked a book from the library is Audine Barnett, also 11 years old.
