A 1934 newspaper article from The Oklahoman that had concept art of what the Lincoln Park Amphitheater would look like at the end. The goal was to have seating for over 1,000 people. The Amphitheater was constructed in 1935 by the civilian conservation corps as part of the New Deal programs. The stage would be a place where pageants, concerts, plays, meetings and other programs would take place. Significant renovations took place in the 1970's.
