Honorable Elmer Thomas
Senator
Washington, D.C.

Re: County Court House
Cleveland County
Docket Okla #1250
Norman, Oklahoma.

Dear Senator Thomas:

I am writing you in behalf of Mr. Hugh Roberts, Norman, Okla., Mr John Washburn, Lexington Okla., and Mr. George Church, Moore, Okla., County Commissioners of Cleveland County, Oklahoma and will appreciate your notifying me the statis [sic] of this project and your expediting the awarding of a grant for the same.

It is intended to call a bond election sometime in August and the awarding of a grant at this time would help considerable in the carrying of same, altho [sic] at the present time there is very little or no opposition to the proposed bond issue.

As the project has been filed for some-time in the Ft. Worth P.W.A. office, I assume and it is my understanding that same has been approved there and sent to Washington for approval and allotment of funds.

Anything you can do in their behalf will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations upon you being re-elected.

Yours very truly,
Walter T. Vahlbertg
Licensed Architect
